Alexis de Tocqueville Award for Outstanding Philanthropy
The Alexis de Tocqueville Award for Outstanding Philanthropy honors individuals who are committed to raising the sights of others through personal philanthropy in support of human services.

Leonard* and Sue Miller of Lennar Corporation and Ed Ansin of Sunbeam Television Corporation shared the 1996 Alexis de Tocqueville Award for Outstanding Philanthropy. The reception, underwritten by Cartier, was held at the home of Julio Iglesias.

2002 Alexis de Tocqueville Award for Outstanding Philanthropy recipients, The Honorable Steven J.
