Events

Fundraising events have long been a part of United Way of Miami-Dade’s overall campaign. By bringing the community together in a variety of venues, we’re not only raising the funds necessary to support our mission, we’re also generating awareness, making important connections and fostering good will. United Way organizes and is involved in an array of events throughout the year, as well as smaller networking functions. Check our Upcoming Events page for more details on what’s to come.

The following are some of our most well known events. Each has been a part of United Way’s fundraising activities for many years.

Miami Wine and Food Festival
Eat, drink and share in the spirit of philanthropy. It’s been more than a decade since our first Miami Wine and Food Festival. This event brings the community together every spring for a weekend of good food, good wine, and good will. For information on the festival, please visit www.miamiwinefestival.org.

Women’s Leadership Breakfast
Clear evidence of the power of women, the Women’s Leadership Breakfast is a testament to the efforts of this very impactful United Way group. Each year, 1,000 women come together to accomplish, in unison, a very rewarding task: to share remarkable and challenging life moments, to inspire peers and future generations, and to meet new leaders while raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for the community.
