Discount card available to cover your family’s prescription drug costs

If you don’t have health insurance, or need medicine not covered by your insurance plan, you may be interested in a discount program currently accepted at over 500 pharmacies throughout Miami-Dade County. United Way of Miami-Dade is helping families throughout the community access this tremendous benefit.

United Way of Miami-Dade is distributing FamilyWize Prescription Drug Discount Cards for you and your employees. FamilyWize is a nationwide community service partnership that works with nonprofit organizations and government agencies to make prescription drug discount cards available to uninsured and underinsured people.  The FamilyWize Prescription Drug Discount Card is free assistance available to everyone. There is no need to apply, wait in line or fill out a form. Simply print out a card directly at http://www.unitedwaymiami.org/files/Prescription_Discount_Card.pdf. You can also visit their website at www.FamilyWize.org to look up prescription prices and find participating pharmacies.
