Food For The Poor, an organization United Way of Miami-Dade has been working with to deliver relief in Haiti since the earthquake on January 12,  has recieved a donation of four trucks from United Way Worldwide, United Way for Southeastern Michigan and the United Auto Workers (UAW). The trucks will be used to deliver lifesaving food, medicine and critically needed housing supplies in Haiti.

Since the January 12 earthquake, rubble has made the roads even harder to navigate and driving conditions are very dangerous, with some people with children living in tents on medians on busy streets. The trucks will be used to deliver goods to those who cannot go out themselves for the things they need to survive.
