| A huge wave of thanks to all who participated in ‘All over Haulover,’ United Way’s 2002 campaign kickoff project that took place Thursday, August 15, at Haulover Beach Park. Marking the start of our 2002 campaign, this one-day service project brings to life our mission of building community by helping people care for one another. rnrnThanks to our sponsors and more than 3,000 hardworking volunteers, together we breezed new life into this favorite family park by restoring dunes, painting lifeguard stations, planting palm trees, brightening tunnels, cleaning up the beach, repairing picnic tables, creating a unique beach wall mural and installing a vita course. Picnicking under the palms at Haulover Beach Park will be a whole new experience, now that we’ve been ‘All over Haulover’.rnrnrnThank you!rn |
