United Way of Miami-Dade's Young Leaders are more than 1,600 individual contributors ages 40 and younger that give at least $1,000 annually. They are committed to furthering United Way's mission of building community by helping people care for one another. By actively participating in giving, volunteering, and networking opportunities, Young Leaders are helping United Way make a lasting, positive impact in people’s lives and in our community.
Popular activities include a three-Saturday seminar to prepare young professionals for placement on non-profit boards, monthly Luncheons with Leaders where small groups of Young Leaders share lunch with a prominent local CEO, quarterly happy hours and a variety of volunteer activities.
